Tube or Pump Bottles

The Gel applied from a tube or pump bottle affords the therapist  the opportunity to create a more thorough application by massaging the effected area during application. Through massage the patient benefits from an increased blood flow and warming of the region at the cellular level for better absorption of the Biofreeze Pain Relieving Gel. This hands on application also reinforces patient touch which has been shown to be very important in the healing cycle. If the Health Care Professional is working a joint area this allows for working with ROM movement during application.

Roll-On

Roller application of the gel affords a number of unique features that can enhance the effectiveness and convenience of this application process. The roller application allows the Health Care Professional or patient to apply the product without getting product on their hands. This can be most convenient for the older patient in applying product to hard to reach places or for someone in the workplace who must apply product during the workday. The roller application is also very beneficial in stimulating trigger points either through treatment in the office or with instruction to the patient on self-massage of these points. 

The roller application is also a convenient and sanitary means to apply Biofreeze to a patient prior to ultrasound. To continue care the patient can take the Roll-on home.
